Of course this is my luck. I got this BB K-frame for my 73, and just decided I'd go ahead and clean it and get it ready for stripping and painting, but I noticed something that appeared to be broken. The hole where the lower control arm shaft goes through on the back of the frame it looks to have a flanged metal bushing that appears to be welded to the frame. Well on the driver's side, it was broken and fell out. I examined the metal bushing that fell out and it did appear to have broken welds on it. I hope it's not a big deal to fix. Can I just get it welded back in at a muffler shop and it still will be safe on the car?

it is relatively common for thet tube to fall out , the factory welds were not great , I have welded them back in in the past with no problems
