Hi, I was hoping that someone could help me get in contact with the owner of the F6 Green Daytona #390014. that serial number is real close to mine so I thought it might be a good idea to talk with them. If you do it might be better to PM me so we don't invade their privacy.

Thanks,

WINGR/Steve

I have pictures of that car .And have a copy of its buildsheet from 390014.As I recall car went to a Ken Burbach .The car used to be in the late 70s AG Hipp of Saluda NC .Before I found the car a second time.I saw the car in Philadelphia PA body shop in the the hands of Frank Kopervos.Back in the 80-s apart for $25 K.Its a original F6 4 speed car.But back the engine compartment was petty blue.Had headers alum intake &holley carb.Pictures of 390014.Somtimes when the car vins differ by 1 .And you find each other buildsheet. And other times the vins are 1 away and the cars are identical

Thanks alot for all of the info nascarxx29, it would be cool to talk to the current owner. Sometimes you never know when it comes to these build sheets.  I still wish I could locate the original owner who purchased my car from Reedman Dodge. Going on the info of the previous owner who bought it from the Dodge dealer in St. Petersburg Florida in about 1972 or 73, the car along with one or two other Daytona's were traded in by some band. I have been trying to figure out want bands or mucisions that would have been from the Philly area back then. Since it was traded in at a dealer in Florida raises the question was the owner from Philly oor from Florida?

Thanks again,          :2thumbs:

Hi nascarxx29 I took your advice and did a search and came up with something that was kind of interesting. It appears that Frank Moriarty, author of the great "Supercars" book was in fact in a band back in the 70's and I believe is still currently a musician. It doesn't necessarily mean that he owned a Daytona but it is worth talking to him. If not maybe he may have some idea of other bands back in that area during the late 60's and early 70's. It is also possible that they weren't from that area and just happened to buy it from there. Who know's ?

I assume that you probably know him since he is from the same area, right. I left him a message today so hopefully he will get back with me.

Thanks again, I would love to talk to you about these great cars sometime, if you don't mind PM'g your phone number and I will give you a call.

That's great that you were able to meet him and get him to sign your book nascarxx29. He put alot of work into that along with help from many Wing car enthusiasts like yourself. I really hope that he may be able to give me some possible lead on the original owner.
