Any updates. Looking forward to seeing this car completed

As am I!...  Sorry for the long delay, but the "final push" to complete the car is beginning...

The restoration has been on hold since a tornado leveled the small town where it was painted.  Fortunately, the C500 had been moved to another town a few months before the tornado struck... destroying the paint & body shop where the work had been done.

The gentleman doing the re-assembly of the C500 also is a construction contractor in the area, and has been BUSY since the tornado in the Spring of last year.  The car was placed in storage while the shop was used to store household goods while homes were being built/rebuilt.  Having been cleared of household furnishings, the shop is being brought back "on-line".  The next week or so will primarily consist of setting up the shop for business again, and determining where everything is (status wise), and generating a list of needed items for the completion of the restoration...

In the meantime, I have been making good progress in re-organizing my workshop and preparing for the next restoration project.  I have begun setting up the final sets of shelving with help from some friends... taking advantage of the mild Winter weather so far.  See pics below... and stay tuned in for the end of this saga.

Allen I have to agree in one way you don't have very good luck with storms. In another way you have real good luck as I don't believe you've had a car severely damaged or totaled at least. But I don't want to be around if a storm hits your shop. There will be Hemi valve covers flying everywhere.  :smilielol:

Yes, it appears they are... what are the odds two cars owned by me would have close calls (the Hemi `Cuda was actually damaged slightly) by different tornados years apart...?

BTW, I have house guests for the next three days... so I will not be posting often.
