Awesome Allen !!!  Glad to see her pushing forward, I know you've be patient through the whole process. Again, looks like she's in very good hands. Do you need to borrow the heater box part number stamp I have?

What gear ratio is your car?
It sounds good

Hi Bob...  Although the car came with 4.10s, it still has the 3.54s that the second owner installed during the 1973 fuel crisis... Remember when we tried it against your Hemi out near Fey's back 30 years ago in San Antonio?... Your Hemi won, but Ol' Yeller gave it a good run, and even now with 40+ old tired engine it still runs fairly strong...

I spent about four hours in my shop yesterday looking for parts needed for completion of my C500, working from a preliminary list provided by Ken.  After all these years, some parts are proving to be elusive, while others are quickly found...  I am even robbing the parts stashes of some of my other cars to expedite the process...  This almost mint console was bought many years ago for my Hemi Road Runner, but I believe I will use it on Blue Thunder to save time...

Awesome Allen and Ken !!!!!  Does that have the chrome or black button on the door handle? Should it be or or another or does it matter on later SPD 500's?

Based on my research, the buttons were black on the C500s, and chrome on the Daytonas.  My fairly late SPD Charger 500 (12/4/68) had black buttons, but the repros all have chrome...and I have decided to leave them unchanged.

They do interchange, but I like the chrome better...  Like the incorrect recall wheels, they can be easily swapped out in the future if so desired...
