What do you plan on selling?

I will start with some NOS E-Body parts... I just sold a pair of NOS E-Body muffler heat shields (they were not actually for sale, but a good $$$ offer was made).  Next some used E-Body parts...

Also, a 1968 Dodge Polara 2 Dr HT with a 383 HP...

Just starting to make a for sale list...

BTW, on eBay and most forums I am just "xs29j8"...

No Charger parts for sale at this time...

Sorry to hear about the fiasco with you're 500 Allen!

I wish you were closer I'd get that thing done for ya!

BTW I'm sorry to say that I could see this coming from some of the very early posts.....Some of the work they did and how they were doing it made zero sense to me. :Twocents:

Hang in there and it will live on to be the great Charger that it is!

Allen glad to hear that you got the car out of there, and it is off to someone else to be completed. I'm also glad that you didn't loose all desire to finish the car too. (okay so I'm only a little happy on that one, I was holding out hope of still buying it from ya  ;) )

Thanks guys... in the end the car will have been worth the grief, but a $10K+ lesson is still hard to stomach!  Having already sold some E-Body stuff, the car will be back in work very soon...

Allen , Hope you got all your parts out of there as well.

I hope so too...

I checked for the C500 unique parts, and believe they were all there... Rear Window Plug & mounting angles, Headlight Adapters, Etc.  I do not think the bodyshop intentionally kept any parts, although I would not be surprised if some bolts or paint materials did not end up on other cars... in fact, one of the two gallons of B5 base coat that I paid $1336.40 seemed VERY light when I picked it up.  :P

The C500 will be inpected by the new bodyshop to see where we are at...

Some of the parts are shown in the pictures below.

Thanks Rene!  I believe Larry is a top notch body shop owner... something that I have had trouble finding in North Texas!  I had thought about asking Larry or others about taking over the task when it started to spiral out of control, but did not want to impose someone else's mess on them.  But, when Ken contacted me with the offer to intervene, I did not hesitate a single second!!!  After meeting and talking with Greg K. who will be doing the C500 work, I feel a LOT more confident about the outcome!

Allen,

I've been following your thread and it is definitely hard to watch this happen to you after going through a similar situation myself - however, I know my car's in the right hands now and it'll be done to a much higher standard than I ever imagined... I really sympathize with you and hope that your car also ends up in the right hands now and you complete this great car...

The title to this thread was a foreshadowing more than you ever could have guessed, I'm sure... one of those hard ($$$) lessons to learn...

Good luck with everything and I'm pulling for you!
