whats happening with this Canada daytona
I talked to Greg right after his daytona got toasted and he told me it was going to Legendary Auto in Milton Ont. for a total resto. haven`t heard if it is finished yet or not.  Terry
Previously owned Daytona XX29L9B423239 - f8 - white int. - power windows.

69 500, any luck finding pics of the daytona the mustang guy owned?

69_500

No luck yet. I'm going through a huge box of negatives holding them up to a light, and then trying to figure out which car they are for certain. problem is that there is probably about 5,000 negatives in the box at a minimum. I'm still looking though.

Are you really that desperate? I'm desperate for a wing car, but I don't know if I'm that desperate yet. Getting close but not quite there yet.

No more luck yet on the photo's. Been finding many unique photos in all of the boxes though.

69bronzeT5

Sorry but that car is too toast for me. I'd rather get a rust bucket Daytona that a crispy one. Also...I looked and that is the same car! You can tell by the wheels and the roof damage. So I thought the guy told the news he was gonna restore the car?? Now hes trying to sell it to people :popcrn:

Was it ever determined if that car was one of the original canadian shipped cars?

SPi

The guy that was trying to sell it just started calling me out of the blue, he told me that the car was in a garage fire and that the owner of the car was killed in the blaze and that he had inherited it.  He also told me that the VIN and fender tag had survived and that the car was green w/white stripe, although when I asked him to send me a copy of the VIN or tag he refused.   He wanted 40-50K CDN for the car as it sits and did not have any pics of the car before it was torched.  He also couldn't tell me what the deal with the hood or the missing fender scoops(or the holes below them), or wing was.  He kept calling for weeks saying that if I didn't buy the car he was going to put it on e-bay and it would sell for alot more money - I have still yet to see it surface there.

Thats sorta weird. Because it looks ALOT like the car that I posted that was in a garage fire. But yet, thats the owner standing right there infront of the burnt car in the newspaper article :popcrn:
