Found an old article on the Daytona... neat stuff

[1972Rallye]

I found this copy of "Cars" magazine from November 1969.  They did a road test of a protype Daytona (Hemi Orange / Black), though the color picture they have is of a Bright Green Daytona.  They mentioned the prototype model they drove vented the engine compartment through the fender vents...     A fair amount of the story was about all the weird looks they got and some comments from people on the street.  Makes you realize just how outragous these were back then.  Fun reading!

I got that issue doesnt show the hood pins being secured by wire.Instead of hoodcables

Yes, similar to an A12 hood pin wire.

I recall the odd hood pins must have been a early car. I got it somewhere .I tried to get any issue or ad with a aero car
