Anyone pick up a set of the reproduction headrests that B/E&A are making?  They have auctions on ebay all the time & was wondering on the quality of them?

Can you tell me if they are injection molded or a vinyl covered foam like the originals?  Also is the chrome band flat or rounded?

I emailed B/E&A and they told me they are vinyl covered foam, have flat chrome bands, have the fake stitching like the originals & utilize a gasket at the bottom....sounds like a nice product....

I wonder if they come in red?  :smilielol:

The original ones in my '68 are so hard now that I would probably be safer with whiplash. Hardens had some of the first repos at Monster Mopar and they seemed decent. That was several years ago and I don't know who there supplier was.

I'll be darn...they have red ones.  :o

Speaking from experience I would guess that chances of a dye match are not very likely but still pleasantly surprised.

On a positive note, I received my headrests from Mike @ B/E & A  :2thumbs:  These babies are really nice!!

They are exactly like he described and are made well.   Nice injection molded vinyl with the correct flat chrome band...stitching & grain are dead on as well.

I haven't bought a nice part for the Charger in a while and this one fit the bill nicely!

PS---thanks Mike for the nice price!

Pics to follow shortly!

If they pass the Chris test, that's good enough for me.  I'll put those on my long list.  :yesnod:
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.
