You know, scrolling thru the pictures I saw this one and thought, hey, there is a 68 Charger on the left.  Then kept scrolling down and realized it was a Vette.  D'oh!

Hey, maybe that's one of those missing 70 Daytona's and it'll turn out to be worth millions.  :D

Talk about inspiration...seeing that pic of your clone makes me want to order the rest of the parts for mine and get that thing together. The nice part is, my car is already drivable so it just needs the parts attached. Funny...when I just wrote that it sounded so easy.  :icon_smile_big:

I noticed no tail stripe either....I like it....

I think that '70 door scoops look very appropriate on a wing car, even if it's not correct.  just looks "right"

I have been thinking of putting the R/T door scoops on our Daytona.....  :scratchchin:

I think it's cool you thought that, because I read that the 68 Charger lamps were copies of the vette tail lamps of that era?
This car was sold many years ago to somebody in Wisconsin. I now am retired and living in Florida.

I think the 68 charger tail lights resemble rocket engine thrusters

Do you think it will even get the starting bid? I kind of don't think so.

It is a cool car with lots of potential.....

If I had the money, I'd drive the car just the way it is, NOT a THING wrong with it to ME!  I think the thing is GORGEOUS!!!!

Great Wing car you can actually enjoy.

But I can't really afford to buy ANY car right now, let ALONE that one!

Nice car Dave, who took that pic?  :D

Ed sent me tag info on that car a while back. Black car/black vinyl top, SE, AC. Would have been a lot sweeter if they didn't hack it up.  :Twocents:

nascarxx29

When you snapped a picture of my old car it was a Englishtown Mopar in the 80-s.I was there with a friend of mine whos car it might have been at that time.He later sold it.But we planned on building another.Me and Ted Janak pulled a 70 RT charger out of TX junkyard in Seguin.Ted did most of the wingcar treatment to it.The car got a far a black primer when my friend owned it.And sold it to used car lot.It changed hands from lot to lot.Car finally got done looked nice. And was at the well known muscle car dealer in Maple shade NJ.That place that mysteriously caught on fire. And that 70 RT and alot of other cars were reduced to rubble. The real superbird was sold earlier and missed the fire. And the ad from prior dealer before the fire
