Firts, let me say thanks to all who has worked so hard to give us a home and a tip of the hat to the 1970 Charger registry for the motel.

I just picked up the big Hemi on Friday from the machine shop and it is so nice to see it sitting in my shop.  It is .70 Over with JE Pistons. Eagle H-Beam rods, Forged Crank from Ohio Crankshaft, MP Stock 69 Hemi cam. And all fresh springs, valves etc.  It is the original numbers match block & heads and should be pretty stout with 10.5-1 compression.  I will post the resto of it on www.69hemi.com as it goes along.

Here are some links to other shots.

I will get started on the detailing next week and I hope to get it in by the middle of August.

A special thanks to my wife and two daughters who helped me wrestle it out of the truck.  They may be girls but they are girl gearheads and I love them!

That's awesome!

Your Charger's coming right along.

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

The motor.  Everyone knows that a VTEC will smoke a Hemi!

If I knew that you were transporting that sucker around in the back of the truck, I would have carjacked you.  :D
