Yep, there it was covered in glue.  It matches the numbers on the fender tag.  Is that correct?   :2thumbs: :2thumbs:

I am sorry to say that i can't get a good pic of the number on the trunk lip.  Sorry, maybe have a better chance to get a shot in the sun....  Not much sun in Nother California these days.

UPDATE...  :boogie:

I received two telling photos today from the seller. One was of the radiator support stamping that exactly matches the fender tag. One question down....  :scratchchin:



The second photo was of the 833 transmission, and showed the correct stamped pad. It reads

8B241618
PP8332337    0070        (70th unit built on December 21, 1967)

...and as you may recall the VIN reads XP29H8B241618....
