Drailed, what do you call that type of tractor that has the long frame behind the sleeper and the rear axles, like in the pic of long and low truck.  Those are really cool looking.  Is there a certain reason for the long frame section?

theres is no real resaon for the long frame other than a nice riding truck and it looks cool. I dont know what they call it exactly although ive heard it called a "west coast look" but i see plenty of guys around NY and Canada with it. I dont think its the kind of truck youd want to be running around Chicago or Manhattan with because of the turning radius. Your right though they definitly look cool. This blue needle nose has alot of custom work done to it. I believe i read on a site where they stretched the nose out as well.

California Stretch or West Coast Stretch is the term they use for those Long wheelbase tractors. They look Great, but I would hate to make a delievery in NYC, Boston, or Chicago with that thing!!
