I'd be curious to see them..

I have a '69, the R/T, a '78 the R/V,  :shruggy: had a '89 New Yorker like the one behind this DAYTONA, now I daily drive a '99 300M, and next year I'm due for another...

    :D

69_500

Well he does attend many of the major Mopar shows, but your most likely to see him in his PT Cruiser that he bought a few years back rather than any of his older Mopars. He definately has some nice cars though, but you'd never know it by talking to him, or seeing him at a show driving around in his PT Cruiser.

SFRT

my rides are varied...my 'daily driver' is a Ducati 996, then the 'weekender' is a track worthy Ducati 749...when it rains I drive an Toyota 4x4 and the old lady has a 350Z I did a bunch of mods to. The 69 RT is my first american car since my roadrunner got totalled back in 1994.

and theres now this perfect mint stock 1963 mercury S-22 outside with a for sale sign. Deal is..it hides a 5.0 litre mustang engine and transmission. fastest car I have driven in a while. crazy sleeper. guy is willing to sell it cheap so im thinking on it.

Is there a picture of that tag? A SE Daytona would be interesting definately, and I'm just thinking outloud here, but I'll have to look it up, but there was a sequential pair of Daytona's that were Candian that were both SE's and I believe both green in color. maybe this is one of those.

414665 is also an SE,but it is an R4 car.

nascarxx29

Isnt 414666 Carl Hagans car.Its the 208th car on the daytona shipment list.Shows selling from Pumlex Auto Co Vancouver BC.The other SE was the  414665 cars in barn car. That got found and sold I recall?

nascarxx29,
Yes - I bought both cars from Fred - the daytona is being restored by the people that bought the two from me - there is a link to it - I'll have to find it and post later. They changed the gut from black to red - it is looking good though. Both cars had matching tranny's but no motors. The Daytona had 2 build sheets, the 500 only had the original f-tag.
I also had one of the two SE Daytona's sold new from the same dealership in BC. Mine was 665 - the other was 666 - 665 tag attached.

THE CHARGER PUNK

OH MY GOD WHAT ARE THE ODDS  :o

Ladies and Gentlemen this is the F8 daytona se modtop car with the primer nosecone that was at mopar madness, kwantlem college in 05 this is the car that was sitting in parking lot at the show. it had its nose stolen in the 80's as well as the wing but he got the wing back or something and thats an aftermarket nose(dont know the whole story on it) and the modtop was removed, ask for pictures of the roof as youll see all the signs of the vinyl top trim that was once on this car, this car still runs and drives as he drove it to the show in that condition i sat in this car and looked through it up and down, if my pictures had been developed, they would be of the same car that you would be looking at right now-MATT

While I can't post everything I've learned about this car due to a similar request for privacy, I will say this much:

I remain 100% convinced that this car is NOT a factory Mod-Top Daytona.  Customized very early on, perhaps.  NOT factory...
