Sorry folks.
It took me awhile, but I know it's not as good as the real one. :brickwall:

I like it.  I wonder how long it will take for it to appear somewhere else on the net and from there as a reproduction of the "real" thing for sale at a swap meet?

I fully expect that to happen. Now that it's in the public domain.

Looks AMAZING! Would you mind emailing me a smaller version? cole_383@hotmail.com.
Dude, shrink it. It's much harder to make a larger version that isn't all pixelated but smaller is a piece of cake.

I like it! One of my favorite color combinations too - even if it is a 69. ;)

Actually I think  it's a 1968 - looks like the prototype Jerry Service owns

69_500

I think that your right there Bill. You can barely make out the tail stripe, and see the round marker lights in the middle of it.

I think Jerry's Daytona had the same pinstripe application.

Yes I think to it has similar pinstriping originally V2 orange Hemi daytona by the fender tag

Pinstriping and rear marker light removed. Re-colored to T7 Dark Bronze as requested.

Has anyone seen/heard from Jerry lately?  I don't think I've seen him since the '96 WW/NBOA meet in Ann Arbor.  He was a passenger in my petty car on the proving grounds track--that was awesome.  We were so far back that I had the car up to 130mph--to catch up, of course ;)

69_500

Haven't talked to him since 1998. When he has his Daytona at the Mopar Nationals.

Magnumcharger

Looks like Jerry was "johnny on the spot" to grab both a Hemi Daytona AND the prototype Hemi 500!!
Probably got them when they were worth practically nothing, huh?

Ordinarily I wouldn't be either Cody but it's a personal thing and they were on that car for so long now, it's very difficult for me to imagine the car without them.
Does anyone know if the car is still as it was in the 80's (the last I saw much of it) or if he has given any sort of secret "once over".  Does it still have the mirrored underhood and white engine bay?

6pkrunner

Magnumcharger,
I have had three requests so far for posters made from your ad. To do this properly, I would need the highest resolution image you have made of the file.
Also is it something you would allow? I usually just cover off my costs for materials and wear and tear on the gear, so keep buying lottery tickets for retirement
plans.

Let me know. And those that want a poster from this  - vocalize here now so a general idea of how many are wanted can be guessed. A 24x (whatever) laminated will be around
$13 and courier will suck a further $18. But for $18 you can send up to 10 posters - if you want more. A single poster really isn't worth when one looks at courier costs. And the regular postal systems - Canada Post and USPS are not that much cheaper and have lost or ruined nearly 30% of all the stuff I sent out. Thats why I ceased using them.
