73se 400 magnum

« on: September 20, 2019, 11:15:46 AM »

I ordered some new poly ones and I'm gonna try to replace them next week. Has anyone here done this on a 73-74? I can't really find any videos or info on these. My plan is to put it up on 4 jack stands on the frame so it's parallel to the floor and then have jack with a wood block under the k member for support. Loose 1 side and then replace one at a time before going to the other side. Or should I loosen both side some?

& Should I take the tension off the torsion bars too?

Any tips or things to watch out for would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance. cheers
