Long story short, the car I looked at on eBay and bought didnt show up the way it looked in the pics and I have to fix a hell of a lot more now. Anyway, the doors need to be replaced (skins with the indents would look damn cool, but I cant find em) , the front renders (cant findany good metal repros), and the piece below the grill in front that lines up the fenders (no idea what its called nor where to look for it), and the trunk pan is fine, but the sides of the trunk are not even there. Can you help me find some places that sell replacement stuff (or N.O.S. for this) please?
The rest will be sheet-metalled and we will have to deal with it. Any help given will be much appreciated.

Nacho's right. 3rd gen sheetmetal= needle in haystack. Try calling places like MoPar City 815-732-7751, Stephens Performance 256-247-1332, j&j Parts 904-964-5039.etc. Watch e-bay, check out the ads and parts for sale in MCG. You might be able to find a semi-rust free roller. Depending on what you want to spend.

no idea what TBACO is, but I will look into it. Floor pans are good (suprisingly) LOL I "THINK" my car actually has trunk extensions given as "extra parts", but they look very small, as if they need to be sheet-metalled as well. Thanks NHCharger for those numbers. I will give them a call tomorrow. Much appreciated. Just remember guys, this is my first MOPAR and my first RESTORE. I am usually smart, but quite the idiot when it comes to this.

OMG!!!! This was a HUGE help. It has the things I "think I need for my trunk, but whats better is I found the front valance AND the replacement deck for the rear window!!! That's just awesome!!! I also found a bunch of other "new" products that are coming out soon that I may need to replace as well. Thanks again!

between 71 and 72 only diff are sidemarkers 71/72 and 73/74 front valances are teh same on exterior so fits with fenders, hoewver some diff on inner attachments. Frame rail braces are diff length due the diff rail frames. Also the rear edge ( meeting with radiator core support ) is some curvy on 71/72 and flat o 73/74, but not a big deal. what is a hug NO NO about it? products? service?
has been told since ever about bad service... here is the recent one: http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php/topic,41842.0.html

Nacho Just my opinion and all BUT any one playing with the 71-72 with Basic body skills wouldnt be able to modify either one by them selves to make into the panel they need. Thats why I say each one stands alone.
I personaly prefer the 71 marker lights and I have all the equipment to do the conversion but not enough experiance to do it or enough cash to have it done so....Going from 72 too 71 not me, Going from 71 too 72 that I might be able to do but I would look for the right panels first.
Its just my opinion
I wish My 72 wasnt so dam rare I would try, Perhaps when I find a 400 car I can afford with the same options

I spoke with Auto Metal Direct on the phone. The lower valance that you spoke of buying from Jim's is coming from them if I'm not mistaken. He is advertising all kinds of their parts but he can't get them yet either. Might wanna check into that. They intend on making lots of parts and I've heard good things so far. I'm waiting on them to make several pieces for me now, and I will buy them once available. As of now, many of these sheetmetal parts are yet not available. Check Jim's part number I think his is one that is something like AMD something (numbers). Anyway, that's my 2 cents, hope I've helped a little. Lyle
