One-time deal on Daytona braces

I showed a set of the front Daytona braces to a friend of mine that owns a fab shop. He made us 20 sets of them. They're laser cut and they're perfect. The frame braces have the correct offset in them just like the originals. I can't tell any of these parts from originals other than the fact that they're laser cut instead of punched.
Here's the deal. A complete set that includes left and right frame braces, upper latch tray bracket and lower valance bracket all for $110.00 plus $15.00 shipping in the 48 states.
I only have 14 sets left out of the original 20. I will only offer these one time. I won't make them again. I mainly did it because I needed a set for my car.

Also, I looked and I have 8 sets of wing braces left. I will sell them for $90.00 a set plus $15.00 shipping. They're very nice and are copies of an original set. (Thanks Rene.)
If you want both sets for $200.00, I'll just charge the one shipping fee of $15.00. I'll absorb any additional shipping charge.
Same goes for the wing braces...no more will be made by me. I'm going to let the real wingcar parts guys have that business back. It's only fair.
The shipping includes the packaging as well.
e-mail me at hotrodcuda98@hotmail.com or p.m. me.
When they're gone...they're gone. Any that I have left will probably be sold on e-bay by my son or at a mopar swap meet.
Hope this helps someone save quite a few dollars.

Hope these parts help.
I noticed that in the pic, the lower valance brace looks like it has a radius. It doesn't. That's just how the pic came out.  :shruggy:

I would, but Wal-Mart might get suspicious if they saw me using more food stamps.  :icon_smile_tongue:

Can I trade you a bean bag chair ??

hotrod98

I had one already. Note to self. Don't unzip the bean bag no matter how curious you get.

Here's where we stand on quantity at this point in time. I have 5 sets of front braces left and 2 sets of wing braces. This is based on the contacts made at this point. If you've already contacted me, don't worry, your name is on the appropriate sets.
Thanks,
hotrod98

Oh, and here's a pic of the wing braces, before welding. I still have to weld up the corners and weld in the inserts in the ends.

How about wing washers?  Any chance you will be making any?  I was a little late getting in on Larry's.

Steve

hotrod98

A set of wingwashers that would resemble originals would have to be stamped. Way too expensive. I had thought about having some fabbed up using 16 gauge steel, rolling it on a slip roll slightly to match the contour of the quarter panel and then breaking up the trunk lip, but never got around to it. I really don't want to build these parts anymore since it strains my relationship with the real wingcar parts guys.
And, since I tend to buy a few wingcar parts every once in a while I need to stay on their good side. I had already talked to my buddy about fabbing these parts before I made the decision not to make any more parts, so I was kind of committed. As for my car, I'm just going to make a set of the washers pretty much the way that I just described. Only I'm just going to make one set...for me.
I'm really hoping that Larry (daytonalo) will continue making many of these parts. I own a few of his parts and they're top notch. He has a lot more talent than I do. Remember, he actually makes his parts.  I just have someone else make them for me.
