QuoteI just don't have the motivation to start a project of this magnitude (but would love to say I own a real Daytona!)

:yesnod: me too

Same here. I weighed the options...two finished runners or one bad to the bone real Daytona project...the lazy way wins...two runners.  ;D

well i'm kind of glad i didn't get it. it has now sold. someone in NY bought it from what i am told. $43k. it ended up having a bad frame rail. not that it matters THAT much considering the work it needs anyway, but i woul dhave been furious if i had drove that far only to find out it had a bad frame after being told it was rust free.. ah well. maybe one day i'll get one

Glad someone bought it. Every few days, I would think about how maybe I should drive up and look at it.
