could it be this one  :scratchchin:

Think the sequence number's too big for that.. If I'm not mistaken, looks to have a '68 dash pad in it. This reminds me of the 1st '70 Hemi Charger.. I believe it was a '70 Charger 500 with a hemi, no?

Hmm, I didnt know any XP29J9 car's existed :shruggy:

On another note, there is "XS29J9B215858"..that car is still in Ontario. I have it registered as being in Brantford.

Oh you do,  do you? :scratchchin:

Nice find though Steve.  I'd have to agree with Troy about the sequence # being high.  That # puts it with an SPD of 2/18-2/19  of '69 .....well into the model year.

hemigeno

It's interesting that they lumped 3 (of the 5 Canadian cars I know about) XX29 HemiDaytona's in with the R/T's.  There might be a few C500's in that MCG list also, but I wouldn't know which ones.  Wonder if the author of that list just wasn't drawing a distinction between R/T-C500-Daytona?

I've always wondered how many XP HemiChargers were built besides the very early bronze one - which we're all assuming is an XP29.  It's interesting to see a later VIN listed. :scratchchin:

Troy

yeah your right Troy ... i realised after i posted it that the VIN was too high ...  :rotz:  i just got carried away in thinking it must be that  car , but like you say & it is visable a 68 dash pad :yesnod:

Cody,
Are you running a another '69 registry or something?
69 Charger SE - 66 Chrysler Newport 383

69_500

248656 is the only one of those VIN's that is for a 500 as far as I know. I checked each one of the early ones against my list of 500's and that is the only one that came up as a match. 2 of the other ones might possibly be 500's, but the rest of them are no where near any of the groupings of numbers.

duo-stripe

i think Hemigeno knows something about the car. i can remember we talked about it in Jeffy City on the TDCmeet a few years ago.
MoPars overseas...<br />MoPars in the Netherlands

Khyron

not to sound like a jerk, But if I put my car in a registry, and I did, I would not want my VIN posted up.... just a FYI.
