Does anyone have the code to Petty blue? Thanks.

Mike DC

Blue + white is the bedrock of it.  Which exact blue, I'm not sure.

found this

Actually ----- B5 blue wasn't the paint code for "Petty Blue."

B5 blue was the rich, medium metallic blue.....and you saw a lot of Dodge Rams in this same color around 10 years ago, too.

"Petty Blue," the powder-blue-ish lighter non-metallic color, was paint code C37D, and offered in 1970 only. It was also a Special Order paint color, which would have been code "999."

Also found it coded TB3 ....  C37D = Richard Petty Blue*.....70 (on Fender Tag, Also; see "TB3")  which coincides with Jim's chips and tan top's statement. But I believe it's called Corporate Blue as well if not mistaken?

And of course this thread

I do know it was a mix of paint he had in the shop of blue and white though, cause I heard RP say it live on tv last week before the race.

Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?
