:eyes: There is many eyes looking out for this kind of a find.I can remember on another board vintage wingcar post  Danny was on the look out for 4-or 5 of his dads old cars #356522 400563 409--- I cant think of right now something Red on Red turned out to be the paddocks catalog cover car.I dont think he found all 5 of them

Dave my dad's old red on red car is was on the paddocks cover you are correct. However the other two VIN's listed aren't any cars that i know of my dad having. I know he had 355101, and the one on the paddocks cover, other than that I just know the VIN's to the 2 500's and the 1 6 pac Superbird.

I think that when you finish up that 68, that you will not have any problems at all in getting rid of it for more than enough to pick up a Daytona Troy. Granted to find one that you really like will take some looking, but you could easily pick up a project car.

nascarxx29

Who knows maybe it must had been your dad had those buildsheets. And thats why I recordeded those cars .And looked up the info on them from the shiplist. And crossed those 2 off

Oh yeah... The more I put on this '68, the better looking she gets...... She'll be a knockout for sure....... Not sure if I'd settle for a project though....  :icon_smile_big:

Personally, I'd prefer a project. Would give me something to tinker with, and the way I see it I have another good 35 years to work on it before I should have to worry too much about hurrying up and finishing it.  :smilielol:

35 years !!!!!!  Man, the sense of not-having-a-done car hasn't REALLY hit you yet....  :smilielol:

I would possibly take a project if I didn't have to go find a bunch of stuff.. I think a '68 Hemi Charger's equal in value as a 440 Daytona.... But, we've been down that road before.....

That car is at a dealership in Neosho, MO where they are asking an unbelivably (at least in my universe) high price for what they are touting as the lowest VIN Daytona.
