I am restoring a 1969 Charger 500 that some of you may be following in the Aero Cars forum.  Just  recently the C500 was rescued from the abyss of a body shop that had it for about a year.  The new bodyman is wanting to verify the correct placement of the rear valance relative to the rear crossmember, i.e. what are the correct "gaps".  It appears the stand-off tabs and mounting flanges on the ends of the valance are the primary method of locating it fore & aft relative to the crossmember.  My C500 like most 2nd Gen Chargers had the valance crushed in, probably by a sling on a wrecker a long time ago...

Below are pictures from my C500 (before & after) showing the "gaps" and also from another 1969 Charger that I own.  Any pictures or dimensions from correctly placed original valances would be very much appreciated!!!
