Just another picture I wanted to share with everyone. This is my kids with a 69 Daytona that sits on my show room floor. The owner is a really good customer of mine who is nice enough to leave this on our showroom.  It has 33,000 miles on it and in the glove box he has the original window sticker, temporary tag, and buildsheet. It has had a repaint but is a very nice car. You wouldnt believe the foot traffic this car attracts to our dealership. It sits about 3 feet from my office so I get to check it out day in and day out. I will post more pictures later.

Great pic! but them leaning on it gives me the shivers

Do you guys put the windows sticker on it to see reactions? heheh

I'm assuming he has an inside hood release handle like on the '71 Charger SE's. Otherwise, there's no way to open it unless it's electrical and remote controlled. The hood pins on a Daytona are what actually hold it down. I know the painted sports mirrors were offered in mid-year 1970, but I have no recollection of it ever being available in the '69 model year.

You are right...they stopped at our dealership and took pictures of the daytona, and i took our 69 roadrunner out so they could take pictures of it and the new challenger together.

Is it a real Daytona or a clone? Looks great either way.  :2thumbs:
