I'm ready to buy a carb for my '70 Charger with a stock 440 with headers. Stock intake. I'm looking at a Holley 81670, manual choke, vacuum secondaries. Do you think thats a good choice.  Its a 670 CFM , I went thru the Holley interactive pages and this is what it reccommended.

Some others will disagree on the cfm rating but I think it's perfect. I would go with an electric choke though.
Pardon me but my karma just ran over your dogma.

Would you choose vacuum over manual secondaries?

Vac for your street application.  Mechanical would be more for a race application IMO(4 speed, big gear, etc...)

Vac will be easier to tune I bet as well.

Holley 750 HP.
Life isn't Father Knows Best anymore, it's a kick in the face on a saturday night with a steel toed grip kodiak work boot and a trip to the hospital all bloodied and bashed.....for reconstructive surgery. But, what doesn't kill us, makes us stronger, right?
