wingless now, but still around.

Here's a link to the actual car used in the ad.   It's a very clean 440 4-speed car last painted in the early 80's.

I won't be wronged, I wont be Insulted and I wont be laid a hand on. I don't do these things to others, and I require the same from them.

Man I need to move to where you live Doug. All the billboards around here are for hospitals, or radio stations.

I think you might be a little biased on the color there Dave. JK

Hi Danny,    Biased?? Who me?  :shruggy: Well maybe a little.  :smilielol: But you got to admit it looks nice.

Ghoste

How is that for effective advertising?  I'm going to buy some Schlitz just because of the car.

69_500

If they had some around here I'd pick it up.

Yeah Dave the green does look very nice.

I checked the Schlitz website and didn't see it there myself although they have several others that follow the same theme and I thought they were pretty cool too.  They were no Daytona Charger but...

Very cool - never seen that one. And most my magazine collection stops around '74 or so.  If anyone has that in a great high res photo or magazine ad - please PM me.
