wingless now, but still around.

Here's a link to the actual car used in the ad.   It's a very clean 440 4-speed car last painted in the early 80's.

Man I need to move to where you live Doug. All the billboards around here are for hospitals, or radio stations.

I think you might be a little biased on the color there Dave. JK

Hi Danny,    Biased?? Who me?  :shruggy: Well maybe a little.  :smilielol: But you got to admit it looks nice.

Ghoste

How is that for effective advertising?  I'm going to buy some Schlitz just because of the car.

69_500

If they had some around here I'd pick it up.

Yeah Dave the green does look very nice.

I checked the Schlitz website and didn't see it there myself although they have several others that follow the same theme and I thought they were pretty cool too.  They were no Daytona Charger but...

I love corporations!  I had emailed the Co. before the link to purchasing the posters were posted.  This morning, after I had ordered a set, I recieved an email fro a lady at Pabst, stating she was sorry but there were no poster forms of that ad for sale or offered as give aways.  I emailed back that that was interesting, since I had found this link and pasted the link from this thread.  I was hoping she would maybe comp me a poster since I was given wrong info.  She emailed back stating she would need to check with the IT people because the site showed 17 available, and she knew that item has been out of stock for some time.  I emailed back, I purchased a set yesterday.  At the time I purchased the site said 18 were available after my purchase the site said there were 17 available.  I was given a order #, and whaen I checked that under status it said shipped with a tracking #.  She has not emailed again :shruggy:  Maybe she is looking for more stock or drinking more inventory than she needs.

That reminds me of the poster that a friend of mine had hanging in his parts store. It was of a guy standing at the counter pointing at a part on a top shelf and the salesman saying
"sir, it doesn't help to point...the computer says that we don't have any".
