A guy name curtis hill who owned a body shop here locally pulled all the good part off the car ,except the rear glass ,plug and moldings then crushed the car .   It had been t -boned badly circa 78-79 ?   He then hung the parts in the rafters of his body shop ,  Rumor of the exsistance of the parts would pop up from time to time  .  I bought the hood ,nose , fenders , wing , console and speedo cluster circa 1996 when his body shop folded and he was cash poor .  Great find for me and started my quest to build the birdible.  (THE REST OF THE STORY IS IN THE BIRDIBLE RESTO THREAD )

Doug, I have to admit I'd love your job. I tried a few times to get a job at local car museum's but to no avail so far. One of these days though right?

I'll have to try to get a picture of the 500's odometer here pretty soon. I think I'll only put around 1,800 miles on it or so this summer give or take a few hundred.

Sitting at all 0's after the gauge rebuilt.  Hopefully will get some miles on her this summer after I get her all back together.

I'll be putting over 10k miles on mine this summer, easy.  Boise, Woodburn, and Talladega are all on the plate, plus local shows and I drive it on nice days.  Just got back from Van Nuys in my six pack Charger.

First 50 or so no problems  :2thumbs: except a burnt out taillight.
