What could be the car you've always dreamed of besides a '69 Daytona?  Something off brand or really old?   :popcrn:

doug I'd love to be able to step up and be able to purchase your Daytona, but its not going to happen. I tried and tried to talk the wife into doing it. But she is still wanting to pick up some property before she allows me to close the deal on another car. Which is fine, because last time I checked I think I still have about 50 years left in the average life expectancy.

To read Dougs reply is a relief!

when I firs saw his cars listed a few weeks ago and then the parts stash I was worried about the possibility of an illness. You dont come across someone cleaning out the garage too often.

I hope things work out and you get that dream car Doug.
wingless now, but still around.

Beep Beep Dave

The only reason I could see selling off a bunch of areo cars would bee to replace them with a Lift Off Hood car :D
That Daytona is sweet, hopefully we can have a few dream come trues and happy endings.

More than once, I've considered selling a couple of my cars to buy a bird, but it's hard to let them go. I guess if the right car came along, I would change my mind...again.  ;D

As awesome as Doug's current stable of cars is, I can completely understand this move.

Sure hope everything works out, Doug!  Also, sure wish I had the extra coin laying around to snag that Daytona...  it's going to be a great car for someone  :rotz:

YOu know me so well......

We drove the wingrunner to the post office this morning and when I came out there was a guy standing next to the car talking to his buddy on the cell phone. He was yelling...yes ' I'm serious..I'm standing here looking at a real Superbird...right here in Greenwood, Arkansas.

Moral of the story...If I had a real bird to drive, I wouldn't have to continually explain that it's just a 69 runner with a wing.  :icon_smile_big:

to those that want the daytona how would you restore it if you did? Would you go with as painted restoration or back to factory delivered?

I would go with the factory paint. :Twocents:
