This car has been for sale at onetime.I met Les bowman back in the day.Certain features about him remined me of Karl Malden from streets of San Francisco as I recall correctly been along time .I consider this car a pivotal daytona in wing car history beginnings .And trying to learn about.A picture of it .Are the feds know after me.There are alot sensitive/ personal information obtainable on the internet .I didnt consider pictures to be one of them

Dave,

It's a waste of my time to explain anything to you, as you've already passed judgement.  Fine.  Think of me what you will, but if you had promised a gentleman before looking at his car that you were NOT going there to take pictures to be spread all over the internet, is my word to him only "good" until YOU decide otherwise?  When did you become the arbiter of when a promise made by someone else no longer applies?  Oh, and his car had been listed for sale elsewhere previously, so when I went to look at the car it was already available (for "Serious Inquiries only" in those earlier advertisements too).  I am still going to honor my promise unless the owner (who happens to be a member here) tells me otherwise - and I'm not going to approach him on the subject merely to satisfy your curiosity.

Chill out.  In the past, I have personally defended you to the Nth degree behind the scenes around here, and have a tremendous amount of respect for you and your knowledge of wing car history.  However, I do not appreciate your tone or attempt to badger me.  Period.

I am one of the guys that Gene cooled down behind the scenes... BTW Dave, the VIN number you guessed for my Daytona is incorrect, but the car is known to me... have information, pictures, & video that I have not posted due to the owner's request.  In fact there are hundreds of pictures that I do not post due to the owner's concern that their name would be "outed" on the Internet... creating a security risk.  One friend lost over $40,000 in items during a break-in last year in a public storage.

Just my  :Twocents: ... Gotta go water something in my backyard now...  :D   ;)

Ok I think I understand now Allen. The "Super Bees" brought concrete and you are fertilizing it with "greenbacks" so that it will grow up and form a roof so the "Hornets" will have another place to live.   :smilielol: :smilielol:
