I don't suppose these old original locking gas caps had a one key fits all did they?

or... would I be left using a pair of channel-locks on it?  :shruggy:

Aren't they rather rare? I can't imagine it would be a difficult job to pic the lock. Then have a key made or make one yourself rather than stripping out the thing.  :eek2:
