Hey everyone- I haven't posted in a long time. If I recall correctly there are pictures of my car wayyy earlier in this discussion. Finshed the Charger last august. This photo was taken before I had some of the trim on and the front buckets in. Wisconsin winter sucks.

You know Mauve (Robert), I never noticed the original color until I saw these pictures. Was your car a different color, or is that primer underneath the relays.

all that is primer, the original owner had the pass rear quarter replaced once and painted it to match the rest of the car but its only been painted completely once after it was built, that was by me in 98, we took it back down to the metal when we did that, it is an original Mauve car

Hi,
I've gone to a garage for meet an owner of a charger 73 R/T.
A 73 with 71 front grill and smashed front steel frame.   :slap:
with superbee trim on the backside!!!   :smilielol:
and he said to me 28.000 dollars for this trash.
His car had excelent interiour and a 440cid engine AT.
when I saw front and underhood and hood that car showed to me a big crashshshsh.
probably this engine works good, may be not.
but I thought that he says 7.000 dollars before he say.
Excuse me, my english language isn't good

I want to build it with as much horse power as I can get out of the 440 that is in it. I want it to have a NASCAR feel to the car. I know I want to build something unique. I also want to paint it myself; I have painted a car before so I believe that I can do it. As for the color I am not sure as of yet. Does any body have any suggestions for the car?

Finn

Sounds like fun, with hp increases probably the first thing you are going to hear is torque boxes and frame connectors to strengthen the car. Is the 440 a 69 year build or newer?

Welcome!  What was the original color?  If you don't like that color go with black, silver, Dark Green Metallic looks cool or Petty Blue!  By the way, straight gear or auto?
