Wow, I haven't seen those rims in ages! Great looking '69, thanks for showing it off.  :2thumbs:

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

Yeah, they were close-out's when I bought them back in the late 90's or early 2000's.
Car has been rockin' em' ever since 2004 when I finished restoring it, which mean my tires are 14 years old, guess I should probably start shopping for some new rubber :eek2:

Yep, I think it's a Keeper !
I'm pretty darn impressed and need to brag.... but you know it's a pretty damn good 49 year old Car ! when after sitting 5 months in an unheated garage all winter, and it's still 20*F outside ?
* you can just crank it for 10 seconds to get the fuel back up into the Carburetor....
* then pump the gas pedal 6 times to squirt some fuel and set the Choke ....
* then crank it again for 2-3 seconds and it fires right up from it's winter hibernation !

I didn't even have to charge the Battery, NO complaints, NO tics or noises, No smoke, just purrr'd on the high idle 10 minutes until warmed, kick it down to idle and away it goes all happy, still sporting last summer's bug splatter all over the windshield.

Something to be said for the reliability of the old factory original equipment, in an UN-rebuilt original #'s 440 Magnum, original Single Point Ignition/Carb, yada, yada, and that it all still works just ducky 50 years later ?

It even warmed up to 40*F in the afternoon sun so I snapped a few Pics, nonetheless, still crap all over the roads so no driving yet.

Red looks FANTASTIC on 70s. I don't know why it is, but this color on this year really does it for me. Nice ride!
