Ive seen this place mentioned before in related daytona stories. We all should remember user Mayor 1 .Who said they had a early daytona bought of the lot for his mom who worked there .That was rumored to be something along the line of a early mule car

I seen this other guys story looking for info on that dealer and he mentions daytonas
i need some help finding a copy of a commercial featuring my dads car

if you were living in birmingham in 1969 you probly saw it from bill strange dodge. well my dad has a green 69 super bee that was bought there by his sister and her husband who worked for the dealer ship and and they took four or five cars there before the first race to make the comercial and after just after filmimg the guy in the super be didnt stop with the other cars. but kept going and got the car up to full speed. well idk know exactly how fast it went but he pissed off alot of people with the stunt. the tracks people, nascar people and dodges people because of the on going areo wars from what i heard from my and and grand parents he was fired on the spot and banned from the speedway and nearly aressted. my aunts husband had picked out a purple(or blue) hemi four speed daytona and my aunt didnt want a car with a clothes line on the back . so shes pointed at the first car she saw that didnt( a green black striped 383 four speed ram chagred super bee)dad drove it when he was 16 and bought it out right for $500 in 1980 from his dad who drove it as a work car since 1970 he had cosigned and ended up with itbut anyway if you saw it or know where we can find a copy. thx sorry i kinda trailed off but it's a mopar story and if you cant put it on here then i guess theres nowhere you can.

Thank you,

I was just corresponding with an original owner of a Daytona who bought his car new from Bill Strange Dodge.  He says there were seven Daytonas delivered to the Birmingham area dealers.  Bill Strange received two cars, his car which is R4, and a blue one.   No mention of the white car.
