Maybe I should already know this, but my mind's been a bit fuzzy.

How did you get a 375hp vs 390hp 440?

I thought all the 440's were the same.

Ghoste

375 is four barrel and 390 is six.

Kismgby

OK...then I have to assume that the blurb I read about the 390hp Daytona was flawed since there were no factory 6pk 'tonas from what I recall.

Ghoste

That is correct and what I'd assume as well.  Where did you read it? (for interest sake)

69_500

Well you might have been reading a blurp about one of the supposed "3" dealer installed 6 pac Daytona's right? I'm assuming it was the car that was previously owned by a gentleman named Larry Bell back in the mid 1980's and was listed as being the first shipped "US" daytona.

Larry repurchased that car and has it back :2thumbs:

In Hemmings online, they list the two 440 options in their price guide.  It must be run by a Chevy guy....

Ghoste

Well if their online stuff is anything like their magazine I'm not surprised.  Hemmings Muscle Machines has to have more inaccuracies in it than anything else on the market.
