Thanks, bro!!!!!!! :)

Lots to go yet.  My A/C panel is absolutely wrecked.  I have some spare parts out of another car....but maybe I should just do an under-the-dash aftermarket retrofit...

I also need to redo the seat belts.  They look faded.

I left the center console original but everything else is reproduction factory-style.   Looks good but you can tell the difference...   My dad was a Border Patrol Agent (Pilot).  He was killed in 1979 on duty in a plane crash.  The car sat in the hangar for years, rotting, after he died.   I left the armrest as it was, same with the steering wheel.  He spent a lot of time touching those parts...figured I would leave them alone even if they didn't match.   Weird huh?

She's a Y2 Y2...   Just like yours.  :)

This car is 100% original with the exception of:

- Holley Street Dominator Intake
- Electronic Ignition
- Headers
- Slight Cam
- Mopar Performance Valve Covers
- 4 BBL Carb
- 340-Style Air Filter Cover
- R/T Leaf Springs

I did save all the factory parts.

With the hood closed it is basically stock looking except for the stance the leaf springs give it.

The 318 has been rebuilt, sleeved, etc. and it will rip the tires right off.   I haven't put it on a dyno but for a 318 it is quite healthy.

It came from the factory with a/c, the yellow paint, and the green vinyl top.  It has been in my family since 1970.

:D

Thanks.  Long ago but the wounds still leave scars.  But at least they are healed and I try to be a good dad for my kids through example.

I'm chomping to get this car home.  It has been so long...

I just hate that the only guy I trust to work on it is in Tulsa when I live in the Houston area now...  Grrr.

Looking at your firewall wall set up, missing the heater tap set up, which stops the hot water flow though heater box radiator, if I have that right ? Someone on here will correct me, it will severely affect the air cons cooling effect,
I heater hose loops into it and then to engine , they repopped these and are reasonable in cost, but great result with the car looks beautiful

I think that got removed and I can't say why.  It may have been rotted.  We were using a manual heater control valve as a stop gap as I recall.    Any pictures of what it looks like when installed correctly?

I will add your suggestion to my list of things it needs.  Will send an updated engine bay shot if I can figure out how to shrink the files down to fit.

Thanks for the help.  :2thumbs:

Here you go folks.   You have been on this journey with me for a long long time.   Very grateful to the encouragement and support to get the car this far...

Sorry the pictures aren't the best.  My camera sucks, had to shrink them to upload, and the engine bay is a little dusty.  LOL  I assure you it is not multiple shades of yellow nor is it quite that dark.   For some reason the lighting makes the camera think so...
