Ya,I do need a kick in the rear. I did get the new hood today and I only have a few spots to finish and them it's a quick blast and prime.I'm hope this will all be done soon.

Just make sure you catalog all your parts, what you have and where it came from. :2thumbs:

Thats a good idea and I can't believe I almost forgot to do it  :brickwall:  My memory is good enough for what I have currently removed but once I get deeper I know I will have some problems. Thank you for reminding me!

2-3 seperate boxes of different sized Ziploc freezer bags for  parts, A variety of different size boxes, A roll of masking tape for labels, a permanent marker and lots of pictures and you should be in pretty good shape during reassembly. Did I mention LOTS of pictures.....and notes would be good to. A log of the rebuild of the car could be interesting to read at the end.

The bugle sounds the charge begins. But on this battlefield no one wins.

It most certainly would!  It would also help me to appreciate the work that went into the car and what I've accomplished any day I'm feeling down.

A Factory Service Manual would be really handy to have also. I see them on Ebay quite often.

Does it have to be a 68 service manual or can it be 68-70 Charger because I can't find one for 68

69DodgeCharger

Well a 68 manual would be good, but I don't see why a 69 Manual wouldn't be of use. They are about 98% the same car other than the grille and tailpanel. I think the heater control bezel is shaped a little different, The dash pad is shaped a little different, the door lock rods are further to the back of the door just little stuff like that. It would be better than nothing?

Okay cool I'll just grab one of those and keep my eye out for a 68 as I go along.  Then maybe I'll make scans of it for the rest of us  :icon_smile_wink: 42 year old material isn't still copyrighted is it?

69DodgeCharger

I think as long as you are not mass distributing or trying to sell the Copyrighted material you would be fine. You know it's just for personal use.

Good point.  I figure there pretty rare so if I come across one others could use it... And of course for  free.  You guys should be charging me for all the help your going to be giving me, not vise versa  :nana:
