Hi
I decided to show you the construction of my 74 Charger SE.Ibought the car in July 2007 USA and recived by Christmas. In the beginning I just planned to drive araund. But when I had got it.I was sure that without repairs I can`t do.
In spring I discovered something stunning.I could n´t even dream that the body was so rotten. The only good thing was that all the parts I took off the gar were in good shape.
As it appeared that there was no sense to reconstruct the body.I started thinking about baying one more car with the body in a better condition.I found one and bought it in Ebay. After I had received the donor car,I took it apart, and this car was really much better.
I cleaned the body with blaster then gave it a primer to avoid rust.
On the pictures you can see the condition of my car at the moment.

Holy Crap i guess so.  At least you are here now and we can help you.  I hope you didnt pay too much for the car.  but to pay for it and then wait 6 months to get it.  Ouch..  Well, good luck with the parts car.  :2thumbs:

IMO: Look around for another car, you can fix it but it's going to be some serious coin and you don't even know how bad it is under the stuff you can't see yet :Twocents:

:iagree:  yes, maybe your donar car is better than yours that you have right now

They both must have been upper east coast cars.
Good luck with your projects. To be brutally honest, the money your going to spend verses buying one complete is going to be way upside down. I think you would have come out way ahead investing in a very nice driver. Or am I assuming the gold one was bought sight unseen and the seller forgot to tell you something?
