Hey gang.....
Just got back from Houston's version of the World of Wheels 50th AutoRama..... Took some pics of the 6 cars in our club's display for the Houston Mopar Club Connection. I'll take some more pictures tomorrow of the other mopars there from and not from our club.....  I made sure Dan's 'Bird and my Daytona were next to each other so the general public could see the differences between the two.

I was looking forward to going to that show. Had to stay home to receive one car and ship out another. Last time I attended that show Troy had his 500 on display.

Even though magnums aren't correct for any thing newer than '69, there's no doubt they're a damn fine lookin' wheel on just about any thing.

Thanks guys... It's been fun talking about the cars and showing the public the differences between the two, the history behind their development and making new acquaintances. The Dvd's on the "1969 and 1970 Grand National Season" and "Hard Chargers" are a big hit with people,,,, thanks Doug !!

Troy, Saw you out there but didn't get a chance to say hello. My father in law talked to you for a couple of minutes while I waited in the food line for a burger. Came back by later on that evening but everyone was gone. The cars looked good as always.

Sorry I missed ya... I'll probably be getting out to the Southern Sat. Cruise locations this winter since the Nifty-50ees event is on hiatus over the next few months. I haven't been to the Hooters off I-45 or Otto's on I-59, two other nice venues for a cruise location........

I might see you one of the weekends at the Hooters cruise night on 45. It is nowhere near what niftee fiftees is but still a good time. I havent even heard of the ottos off of 59. The cruise night I go to most often is the Pearland cruise night. Just as big as the Hooters cruise night and closer to my home. However even though it runs year round the winter months usually have a smaller gathering, not sure how well the Hooters cruise night does in the winter though.

Well,, it's snowing here right now throughout Houston.. There will be more likely this afternoon/evening...........  But alas,,  :D  next week, I can take 'Tona out to the Sonic drive-in......
