i would like to purchace a new steering wheel for the 69...however...i  dont want the wood grain and would prefer black.....does anyone repop these in the color i want??? :yesnod:

don't know if i imagined this , but i'm sure i have seen a the three spoked S81 woodgrain wheel in black :scratchchin: !! think it might be off a A body :scratchchin:  :shruggy: ................ :popcrn:

You're not.   It was used in the late 60's Barracudas for that sports car look, instead of simulated wood it looks like simulated black leather.  I have one hanging off my beer fridge if you need a pic.

Yea, Mike Ross at www.beaparts.com is the guy you need to talk to. He has the wheel you want in black and several other colors as well. All new and ready to install. You will need to find a good original horn switch, spoke cover etc. to make it complete. Tell him I said hi.
