I'm sure some of you guys are marksmen as well, what do you shoot?  I have a mossberg 500, savage 24 .30-30 over/20 gauge under, and a smith and wesson 28-2 .357 magnum.

Not sure how long this one will last before someone turns it into a flame war, but I'll play for alittle bit.

I'll just mention the ones I shoot most, the first is my deer rifle. I use a Winchester 1885 High wall. single shot, falling block, with a 28" barrel length. It's very accurate once I figure in bullet drop, since I have it chambered in a .270 Winchester Short Magnum. oh course with the falling block design follow up shots are virtually non existant, but I very rarely need one. (I take sure shots)
for my shotgun I primarily use a Browning BPS gold medallion, another real nice firearm IMO, and I do well with it as well. I also have a Stoeger Cougar in .40 S&W and a Taurus PT1911 in .45 which both have multiple uses.

I've got a small collection but I don't feel quite right publishing that list in the "land of common knowledge."

 I asked for a flame thrower and a M2 for Christmas.  :icon_smile_big:

wish this was my gun, my bosses belguim assault rifle, can't remember the name of it, went shooting with a couple modern ones, and a couple old WWII military bolt action rifles,    (the gun looks kinda small, cause I'm almost 6'7)

Why would you want anything else?  Just give me a Charger and I'll be happy.

Looks like an FN FAL (Fusil Automatique Leger) or some derivative. Old, heavy and with a big nasty cartridge for a full auto, shoulder fired rifle... At least these days. In the 1950's it was the shiznitz.

Used to shoot with the local pistol club, but punching paper targets at 25 yards one-handed gets boring fast. Gun laws are pretty restrictive around here (at least regarding pistols and revolvers, hunting rifles are a snooze) and I just don't see the point of idiots like me owning .357's  :shruggy:
So far the most interesting I've fired is an old Swedish knockoff of the Remington Rolling block, .50 cal (short case, not .50 BMG...) which was some kind of army standard 100 years ago. Black powder weapons are cool  :D

I want a SW .500.

Nice gun indeed  , i would recomend a 460, shoots faster flatter and you can shoot 454 casull and 45 long colt out of it also. Im shooting factory loaded hornady 200gr ballistic tips out of my 460 they are shooting 2200 fps out of a revolver. Corbon sells some that shoot even faster somewhere around 2300 - 2400 fps and i beleive they are 245 gr or 230gr.

Im just getting started, Im hoping to find a decent used ruger 10/22.  Something about spending $6.00 on a box of 100 rounds and being able to make the gun into pretty much anything struck some interest.

I have 3 rifles rite now and would like to add a .357 hammerless revolver some day w/ a CCW. My current ones:
Modified Ruger 10-22 w/ a heavy barrel, custom wood stock and Giant Tasco scope. I can take out 12ga shells at +100yds
Marlin 1894 .357 Lever gun w/ a nice Bushnell scope. Good for deer to about 75yds
Western Field (Mossberg) M72-C 30-30 w/ some POS scope, would not trust it over 50yds
96 Dakota, custom everything 4x4, 5.7 HEMI
