Hey Gang..
I apologize for the abundance of pictures of my Daytona lately, but got my scanner to work and wanted to scan a few pages of the magazines it's been in...

One is Mopar Muscle and the other is a British muscle car magazine Street Machine and American Car World.
Now, it's in the latest issue of Mopar Enthusiast.

Hey!  I'm in the Mopar Enthusiast spread!  I've been bugging Stunkard for those pics since we got back!

I gotta go pick up a copy.  What issue is that?

Dave..
I found it by accident really...

Just go to http://www.moparenthusiast.com/

Then, click on the current issue link on the Mopar block. I believe it then asked for you to sign up or something like that. Then I was able to see the digital web-based version of the magazine........

I love the stance of the rear shot. Depending on what happens with my latest efforts, I have a set of 15x7 steelies ready for some V2 hemi orange paint. I'll probably get some 15x8's for the rear though..........

Troy,
first off no appologies for posting wing car pics!!!!! second the history lesson is nice but Ill take current out and about pics anyday!
BTW, I love the magnums more! Im not a steelie guy but thats what so great about all of us, we do what we want to "our" cars!
wingless now, but still around.

Saw that article in mopar muscle featuring Pete Wiseman :2thumbs:.And later found a site he was on mentioning his cars

You got that right, Woody. At one point I was lucky enough to own 3 wing cars at the same time:

A Tor Red Superbird - #'s matching "V" code 440 six-bbl, 4 speed Dana car with 3.54:1 gears and Power-loc, 1 of 308;

A Corporate Blue (Petty Blue) C37D Superbird "U" Code - 440 4bbl, A727 column shift, with 8 3/4" with 3.23:1 gears; 1 of 28, and

A Hemi Orange Dodge Daytona - originally a 440 4bbl car, I screwed around with it and put a date coded 426Hemi in it with 2 x 4bbl Carters, A727 floor shift, factory front disc brakes, Dana with 4.10:1 gears and Power-loc. 1 of 403(ish) built.

I have been very fortunate.

Quite possible for both to be true, each car came had a few during assembly after all.

Here is the site I saw Pete Wiseman on

The buildsheet thing there could be more than one .As long as Troy got atleast one for his car

Incidentally the online story says car came with the buildsheet  :scratchchin:   Where as Galen listed it in MCG he had it

http://www.moparmusclemagazine.com/featuredvehicles/mopp_0508_1969_dodge_daytona/index.html

As we all know, there were "typically" more than one buildsheet per car. I do have an original, but wouldn't mind finding another one. I contacted Diane about it over at GTS. All they had was a name of a person who had it in possession, but at last contact, they were waiting on a return call. Apparently the individual has moved..........

My intentions later, on whatever Daytona I "permenantly" call mine is to have a set of magnums in 15x7 and 15x8's and steelies in the same size. If I thought about it, I should have asked Harvey to trade the wheels off of Dana and the Daytona on that trade day. After all, those Goodyears I have now are brand new and worth more. I just love the wheel wells full and the 15x8's do the trick........

Troy, I've been meaning to ask...what tire/wheel combo did Dana have in the steelies. The size looks perfect.

Hey Brent!
Mine from that night came out terrible, my camera apparently doesn't like nighttime shots from a distance.

If you don't mind sharing some with my car in it too, that would be great.

I'll keep bugging Stunkard and share with you whatever i get.

Thanks for the link Troy!

Dana, when she had her steelies on.... Well, I guess she still does now... Duh........ The steelies are 15x7's all the way around (255/60R/15's). The magnum 500's I had on her were 15x7's in front and 15x8's in the rear (255/60R/15's and 275/60R/15s respectively).......

Where can I find the latest issue of Mopar Enthusiast

Usually, a quality book store would sell them... I actually got an old issue, current at the time, on the magazine rack at my local auto parts store.
