I hold the envelope lol and "Des" pulled what was left of the winger home. he has the engine , i believe i have the tranny and drivers door  and I hope i never let the tranny go into another project. I had no intention of ever reboding this car secretly and some unsuspecting buyer buying it and not knowing it was a rebody. hence i e mailed Doug Schillinger(sp) and gave him the info and vin # and he recorded the numbers.
so what should happen to whats left?  i see Stuart has/had  a 500 for sale  that would make things a lot easier.
I would hate to see this car and numbers gone forever. I know of other cars that started with less and ended up a "Real car ", but thats not my way.
If you have no morals or ethics in life what do you really have ?

Fix it - However bad it is I have seen worse fixed.

Thanks for the support Max but whats left of this Daytona compared to what Rob's Nova Scotia  car was.....he had a complete car needing nothing.lol
And its true , some pretty rotted cars have been restored, i can think of a purple Hemi cuda vert that was done a few years ago . Its a real nice car too .
I do not have the resources or the know how to get it to rob's winger condition. Everything would have to be contracted out other than an engine rebuild or a tranny etc. I really don't have the facilities to do the body , nor paint  etc; so you see it would be a monumental job for anyone really.
I could have bought many cars over the last few years to start this project but didn't have the time or the resources . I'm self employed in the construction industry and when i get $100k together in one pile i tend to put it into another excavator.

And now you understand why a 90% + rebody is the only way to resurrect this daytona . I certainly wasn't looking for an easy way out .
