I'm still game as well - definitely now since the Charger's finally home!!!

I say we take our time and organize a HUGE event at TX World Speedway maybe in the fall - just too damn HOT to do much of anything down here lately!

Brandon..
For sure it's going to be later in the year...................... I guess I need to see about the track and what we can and can't do. If we can't get on the high banks and play a little, then it's no use. I'm trying to get somewhere with a balance of car stuff and not-car stuff like at Boerne. I'd like to find a place that's pleasant, maybe some shopping (like at a square) and some where to sit down and eat. Also, needs to have a hotel or two around. Plus, not sure how much it would cost to rent the Speedway..... It would be cool taking my Daytona out there knowing a Daytona won there in '69....

Fredricksburg is another place to possibly consider - esp. with everything else there is to do there, not to mention the great roads...

This is true... But, taking words of wisdom from Wes P. who's done Boerne forever, it's better to try to organize something closer to home. The logistics of trying to organize/plan an event at a location 3 hours away is tough.. Now, if there's someone in the Fredricksburg area that wants to jump on the bandwagon, by all means do so........ If I do something, it'll probably be within an hour radius of NW Houston/Harris County.

Fredericksburg would be awesome.  I have family in the area and it cuts the drive time down considerably for anyone coming from the northern end of the state or border states.  Anyone's wife/gf would be right at home with all the shopping...unless they are awesome, in which case they will stay with the Chargers  :coolgleamA:

We've got Chryslers in the Canyon here in Amarillo (easy drive for NM, OK, KS, and CO btw), but we are still a good trek for those of you on the other end of the state.

It would be nice to have several regional DC meets in the state and one massive congolmerate imo.

I've spoke to a few other people about a series of Mopar shows across the state, I think it is a dang good idea and would provide a lot more to attendees...including incentive to make other shows.  I'd go into details, but it would take awhile.

Def keep us posted on this, particularly if it Fredericksburg pans out  :yesnod:
