BIG ZAZA

So since this is thread is about the Daytona at the auction how about a little Price is Right.

What do you guys think it will reach in price?  :scratchchin:

Here is the description on the car when I saw it:

Paint new that it would have to be redone to be CORRECT.
Car was put together by the body shop it was in so hardware is what it is
Interior needs work to be nice like detail dash, console, a good cleaning and replace what is past the point of repair.
I don't think the jack part are in the trunk.

So call it a car that really has not been gone through completely.

I think it will reach $80,000 but not sell

Ghoste

I'll concur with that but reserve the right to change my guess after the March auctions have finished.

More McGuinty bet hedging fence sitting than you even think.  I figure if I run into any of the heavy hitters at the next two go's in Florida and they are talking about the car then I'll know it may go higher and/or sold.  :nana:
Traditionally, the last several Toronto auctions have seen the special cars bring some good money and get sold and I would put this into that category.  However, that was when they were RM party's and the promotional steam was behind it.  CCP have plenty of Toronto and Canadian connections but will it be enough to get the job done?

That ad is something else. I get worried when people start sacrificing Impala's. What ever happened to the old school way like goats and virgins?

:D

Ghoste

I didn't even know they had Impala's in Florida.

Just to be like the price is right I'll guess $120K Bob.

And hey hows come I can't get anyone with a daytona to call me son. I knew my dad should have kept at least one of his cars.

BIG ZAZA

I do not disagree with $125,000, but 2 years ago a 68 Hemi GTX Rag B5/B5 solid car sold for $80,000. The guy selling this car has about 8 of his car in this auction to sell. He might pull the reserve if there is one there could be a good deal going down that weekend. :popcrn:

I thought it went for less but he sold it to someone else for 80k after yes/no?

BIG ZAZA

Missed the sale - anyone know what it sold for?

Oooops - The auction hasn't happened yet.  :eek2:

Looks like the hood's has been patched. There are no holed to the passenger side of the hood latch. There should be.

Troy I think that me and you should go in halves on the car. And split ownership to a 6 months out each year. You can have it all winter long and I'll have it from May through October. Seeing as how you will have another Daytona to enjoy during the summer months anyways.

Man, I would love to.. But, I'm barely getting the money up for the transportation cost of this "No money exchanging hands Troy-Trade" for the newest addition to the Hawkes' Nest.  :smilielol:

Say the car on Friday solid car never apart paint job is run of the mill collision shop work.
interior is all original and needs some work. Lots wrong not matching.

Car went through on Saturday got to $125000 and the owner did not take it which he should have. I did not think it would get to that price.
