"Surgical" Removal of Quarters

I scanned some pics from '97 working on replacing qtrs on my '69.  Thought you guys'd get a kick out of chopping the donor car, OSHA approved method.  



After drilling the endless supply of spot welds...the rockers, door strike panel, door jamb, qtrs, truck edge, inner and outer wheel wells installed in ONE large piece.  (on both sides of the car)  Of course had to media blast a 2nd time since most of "my" car was gone!



Tailpanel shipped from junkyard out West.  Repop valence, qtr connects, and trunk pans, but the rest is repaired chrysler steel.


Also got a cowl from a different car


Amazing how much is available nowadays vs then...
