I usually do  :icon_smile_big: and let me tell you... there ain't too many of you guys bringing them.  ;)

69Charger500

I'll see you there this year.  What weekend is it again?

Ghoste

69_500

Your going to bring your C500 to the nats this year? I'll probably take mine again, unless by some form of fate I get a Daytona before then.

You should bring your car to the Monster Mopar here in Indy, I'll definately be  there with the 500 at that one.

Charger_Fan

I don't remember where I got these pics...I think from eGouge sometime in '04.
Thought I'd share them here. ;D

The Aquamax...yes, this bike spent 2 nights underwater one weekend. (Not my doing), but it gained the name, and has since become pseudo-famous. :)

69_500

Well at first I was going to say that I knew where you got those pics, but then when it showed the interior pics and it is an automatic car and not a 4 speed that threw my thoughts out the window.

Gorgeous car though.

Charger_Fan

Yeah, I'm about 80% sure I snagged them from an Ebay auction. Now I wish I thought to note the VIN# too.
It sure is a beauty. :yesnod:

Here is one that I don't think was posted on this thread. It isn't this color from the factory, but is a beautiful car now.

Nope, unless Cliff changed the wheels, that car's not it.. Show looks to be in Dallas....... Cliff's Charger has Magnum/road wheels.... Plus, I believe Cliff has black interior.....

You nailed it Highbank. Wish I could get ahold of it now, and take it back to that color.

As I remember Q5 wasn't that widespread of a color but I could be wrong.

Sure wasn't on 500's that is for sure. I have only run accross 2 of them that were that color origionally. I have thought of painting my current 500 that color as a tribute to my dads old one.

Ghoste

I don't think it was on any of the Mopar offerings.  Green seems to be what was popular with people in the late 60's but any of the blues sure do compliment the Mopar body styles well.

69_500

I love the Q5 color. I do see a lot of Green, and a lot of the Bronze colored Chargers. Well a lot of them are now V2 orange, or red but they weren't origionally. Seems to be more green chargers than anything, at least to me anyways.

Ghoste

I think there were more greens of EVERY car made in that era.

69_500

Okay so I found one of the same car before it was turned Orange. here is it in the factory Q5.

Ghoste

Even in that condition, that color adds a certain "cool" factor to that car.  :icon_smile_big: imo

hemigeno

Ok Danny,

Which one was it that was playing ball and rolled one up underneath the car - you or your sister?

That is a good looking car, even without the stripe.  You've probably answered this question before, but do you know if it was ordered without the stripe, or was it taken off?

69_500

Stripe was taken off, and the dealership added the vinyl top.

I was the one who had the ball up under the car. It wasn't my sister.
Can you believe my dad bought that car for $200 in 1979? Then sold the car in 1982 I believe it was, for an incredible amount of $800. Car wasn't running when he bought it, but all it needed was a battery, clean gas tank, spark plugs and wires.

I might post some pictures of 2 Charger 500's I went and looked at lately, but I'll wait until I get permission from the owner before I post pictures of his cars.

Flirt...

69_500

Well I just took the pictures today, and so I'm going to talk to the owner a bit more before I post any pictures of his cars. Took the pictures for my personal information, and added the 2 cars to my list of known cars. Both are 500 SE's with A/C. Both are the same color exterior, interior, and stripe color. So a picture of 1 would be just like seeing both.
