Been to his house, it's amazing...... I bought a NOS front spoiler for my '71 Charger R/T I once had.... Nice guy...............  This was about '88/'89.. I lived in Ft. Worth at the time...

His Daytona was a Hemi car... originally F8 (?) Green, but changed to R4 Red.

Been to his house, it's amazing...... I bought a NOS front spoiler for my '71 Charger R/T I once had.... Nice guy...............  This was about '88/'89.. I lived in Ft. Worth at the time...

Hey Troy, you are lucky that Charles's Mopar collecting habit was not contagious... 

unfortunately, it is contagious... I just didn't collect the Elephant stuff.. Mine was primarily 440 and tons of Charger interior items........ But, recently, stuff is getting sold off...........  I have two Chargers now and that's good enough for me....... Until I win the lotto of course........

When I was there the only thing he "said" he had was the orange hemi '71 Charger R/T sunroof car and the red '69 Charger 500.... As far as I know, he still owns the Charger 500... His C500 is the one which was featured in those posters you used to be able to buy with the barn in the background...

Looks like it was contagious in a good way Allen. I remember reading that article and remember thinking look at all the H pipes in the attic. I also remember seeing the Hemi 500 in St. Louis in 1982. I was amazed at the car when I saw it. There were very few cars restored to that level back then. Gave us something to aspire to. Ya I had a copy of the poster of the Hemi 500 sitting by the old barn.

Charles still has the Hemi Charger 500, the only old Mopar he has AFAIK.  He also has some European manufactured performance cars...

He is still in the general Dallas area...

I'm pretty sure the bug made it up here in the trunk of that car I hauled home from Texas.    I know the basketball made it home from Texas in the trunk of that car.    By the way thanks for the bug and the car.
