Its a cool link, and i appreciate the help, but it doesn't say I can put 29" tires on a charger. and I know its possible. plus it just doesn't have the same effect as seeing it in real life. thanks but I'm looking for some real pictures.

im on my phone s posting links is a pain. Send me your email and I will send you some up close shots of my 275 60's on the new wheels. 15x8.5's. The offset is an inch or 2 too far out for my liking but they work without rubbing.   I had the same tires on 15x7's and they were tucked up underneath very well.

There are a few pictures of 295/65/15's on here.  Ron's car is one of them.  I have 325/50/15's on mine.

I beleive a 295/65 is around 30". I do have a picture of this set  up if you want to se one of these.

Ron's car:

It's pretty much set up for drag racing so I'm not sure how high the rear end sits above stock. I also have no idea if it will hit in a sharp turn.

Sarcasm detector, that's a real good invention.

my 28"s on Super Stock springs that stiffens and raises the rear a bit, around an inch or so,.. It's a very popular size combo for second Gens..

Here's the picture of 325/50/15's.  I'm planning on going to 295/65/15's in the spring.  I'm looking for the extra height.

My thread might help you.  Be sure to post some pics of yours, before and after, to add to it and to help everyone else out!

good thread too. i think I'm definitely going with a 28", to me the 29" tire look a little too big for what i want. im amazed at how much different a charger can look just by changing the wheels.

Wheels can make or break a car in some cases, but everyone has a look that they like and they're own opinions.  However... there aren't many ugly Chargers in my opinion!     When you get those tires on, be sure to post a picture for us all with details!   :2thumbs:

First Pic, 235/60 front on 15x8 275/60 rear on a 15x10. 275/60 is 28" but because of the wide rim, is a bit less.

Same front tire, now the rear is a 295/65 on a 15x8, so it is slightly taller, almost 30".

Can you add those pics to this thread too?  It would be a great addition to it!

those 31" dont have any clearance issues? do you have stock suspension?

bull

Here's some 325/50/15s at about 28" tall.

And here's some 295/65/15s at 29.5" tall.

Bull,

Are the 295/65/15's on a 8" or 10" back spacing?Kirk

I assume you mean overall width? I don't know but they look like 8" to me. Ron owns the car. http://www.dodgecharger.com/forum/index.php?action=profile;u=250 You can send him a PM with any car-related question in the world and he'll be happy to help.
