My build is going to the engine dyno tomorrow!!

1967 440 block .030 over decked, squared, line honed, milled to get zero deck.
Pistons are SRP Forged flat-top PN 213455
K1 rods ARB 2000 bolts
Stock crank turned .010/.010 He said he had to take alot off it to ballance with the new rods and pistons
Edelbrock RPM "OOTB" 84cc heads
gasket .039 Compression specs to 10.2:1
Cam is a Comp Solid XS282S
Int .520 Exh .540
Dur @.050 is int 244 Exh 252
LSA 110deg installed at 107
Crane roller rockers
Dougs 2" primary/ 3.5" Collector headers (may be a little big??)
Pro Form 850 carb
Edelbrock RPM Intake with 1/2" Open spacer.

If it doesn't blow up on the dyno from my super duper built quality , I will post numbers on friday!

This is going into a mostly street driven full body 1968 Charger. Auto trans, 3.55 gear (489) housing.

Any guesses????


Headers are a little big I know, but I plan on doing port work down the road and possibly a stroker so I figured buy one time on the nice headers!

ALL DONE!!!!!!

It made 497HP @ 5700 RPM with 38deg of timing. I should have let it keep going to 6000 just to see the 500 mark, but the timing to make it get to this power was killing torque...

We backed timing back down to 35 and got our torque back.

Max torque of 542 was found at 4250 using a stepper setting. This is where we left it. and it had 490 HP @ 5700 with the largest torque curve..

I am HAPPY!
