Ever see one of these as original equipment on a 2nd gen charger?
I wrote the seller and he claims it's correct.
I mentioned all the jack poles I've seen are T shaped not a hollow pole like on GM cars and he said it is T shaped.  WTH?
If it was correct as I'm used to seeing ( plus grey color ) I would of owned it by now.

Mine is "T" shaped...or closer to a "Y"......but it's not the hollow pole style

Yeah you're right, Y would be closer.

The jack for my 70 looks nothing like that.  In the one pictured, the wrench socket leg is too long, an the jack is all wrong.  I can't speak for a Daytona or Superbird, but for Gen. 2 it's definitely wrong.

Seeing 2nd gen jacks bring big bucks would this be the kind of thing to notify ebay that it's incorrect, or buyer beware?  I would think anyone owning a expensive 2nd gen and spending 300.00 would know what's correct.  I'm no detail pro but it caught my eye.

:hah:
I wrote the seller and told him how I posted it and vote from all the Charger owners is it's incorrect and he may want to pull the ad because if someone is stupid enough to buy it, they will learn fast it's incorrect and he'll have someone looking for a refund.

It is similar looking to a 2nd gen Charger jack, but I agree with everyone's response: it is NOT the real deal. I've seen some sellers try to pass that jack off (no pun intended) as a Charger jack before. Keep looking.

He wrote me back and thanked me. He said it was from a 68 they painted back in the 80,s. I would think he would update or close the ad.

So I explained to the guy how it's not a 68/70 Jack, and he re list it.  So he knows he trying to rip people off?  Boy buyer beware is needed here.  Nothing eBay can do for false listing?

Heh, I sent him a message and then saw that you other fellas did too. Sometimes I wish there was a flag button on Ebay like craigslist has.

Ghoste

Pretty obvious he doesn't much care what we think, he plans to sell it anyway and do it where it will bring the most money.  Godd luck to whoever buys it.

Charger-Bodie

The sad part about it is that ,Someone will buy it thinking its right and stick it in their trunk and he will have gottin away with it. Unscrupulous J-A!
